Author Guidelines

Submission

Peer Review Policy : All papers are required to be written in English and submitted both in PDF and Microsoft WORD (preferred) or LATEX formats to qmsm@email.nchu.edu.tw(Administration office of QMSM).

To verify originality, manuscript may be checked using originality detection Software, namely, CrossCheck. All submitted papers will proceed in a blind peer review. All submissions to QMSM must have not been published previously and not be multiple submissions of the same paper or a paper with substantial overlap. All correspondence, including notification of the Editor's decision and requests for revisions, will be sent by e-mail.

Manuscript Texts

Manuscripts must be typewritten in English, double-spaced on A4 (8.5" × 11") sized paper with 2.5 cm margins using Times New Roman font with a size of 12 pt. Please prepare your manuscript in two file formats, namely, PDF and WORD (preferred) or LATEX. Authors are encouraged to prepare the manuscript using Microsoft Word. The manuscript is organized in the following order: title, authors, affiliations, abstract, keywords, main text, acknowledgements, references, figures, tables, and appendix. Do not plug the figures or tables in the text, but indicate their locations directly in the text. The corresponding author should be marked by an asterisk, and the footnote should provide his/her e-mail address, phone number, and fax number. Based on the 6th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA, 2010), all publications cited in the text should appear in a list of references. References should be listed in alphabetical order by the last name of the first author and are cited in the text by the reference numbers in square brackets. Illustrations

Authors should provide the highest quality figure format possible. The minimum resolution requirements for line drawing, grayscale, and color figures are 1200dpi, 600dpi, and 300dpi, respectively. Please make sure that each figure must have a caption. A caption should comprise a brief title (not on the figure itself). Keep text in figures themselves to a minimum but explain all used abbreviations and symbols. All figures must be numbered in sequence by their appearance in the manuscript (e.g. Figure 1, Figure 2). In multi-part figures, each part should be labeled (e.g. Figure 1(a), Figure 1(b)). Tables should be also numbered consecutively (e.g. Table 1, Table 2). Footnotes to tables should be typed below the table and should be referred to by superscript lowercase letters. As mentioned above, please place all figures and tables at the end of the manuscript, rather than intersperse them in the text. Proofs will be sent to the corresponding author only and must be confirmed within 3 days of the receiving date. Before confirming, authors should check their proofs carefully.
